The First Four Things you Should do on your Wedding Morning

The morning of your wedding day will be both exciting and jittery. No matter how well you’ve planned everything in advance, if you’re anything like me, you’ll be double and triple checking everything in your head all morning. However, this is going to be one of the most special memorable days of your life so remember to breath, take in everything, and most importantly enjoy every minute. While you will be super excited to do everything at once, these four things should be top of your list.

1. Eat

This is something a lot of brides don’t do and trust me, you definitely should! It can be easy to get lost in pampering yourself and taking photographs with your bridal party, but if you don’t eat now you may not get another chance until dinner. You will be super busy all day and even if you aren’t hungry in the morning you’ll definitely feel it after a couple of hours.

2. Drink Loads of Water

Have a glass of water as soon as you get up and continue to sip on more throughout the morning. This will leave you feeling refreshed and revitalised and ready for the day ahead. Water will not only have you feeling great but it will give your skin an extra glow. If you aren’t much of a water drinker, try adding some fresh cucumbers or lemon to give it an extra zing.

3. Lay out your Wedding Dress and Details

This is always one of the first things brides do when they wake up on their wedding morning. It will not only calm you when you realise everything is in order, but it will get you really excited. Make sure your dress is hanging up to avoid any last minute wrinkles.

4. Write a Note to your Future Husband/Wife

Writing a note to your soon to be bride or groom on your wedding morning is a really cute and special idea. Tell them exactly how you’re feeling, from all of your little jitters to how excited you are to be with them forever. If you decided to be traditional and not sleep in the same place the night before it will be even more exciting. Give it to your maid of honour to give to them to read before they walk down the aisle.
