Spring Wedding Trends – From Flowers to Personalisation

If you are planning a spring wedding for this year or next, you’re probably frantically googling what is on-trend. Spring wedding trends vary slightly from year to year but for 2019 and 2020 spring weddings you’ll most likely see a few, if not all, of these styles.

Coloured Bouquets

Colour is really having a moment and spring is the optimal time for flowers, so coloured bouquets and centre pieces is definitely set to be one of the most prominent spring wedding trends. It’s the perfect way to add a pop of colour to your wedding look.

Rustic Themed Weddings

Rustic weddings are one of my favourite themes. They are all about being in touch with nature. They are very relaxed with an underlying romantic vibe. We love this theme so much we’ve a whole blog post on it.

Lace

Lace, lace, and more lace! Whether it’s on your wedding dress, your veil or a part of the decor, lace will be popping up in a lot of weddings in spring 2019 and 2020 There’s something really classic and romantic about lace, that makes it a stunning wedding material.

Up-dos and Tendrils

Ever since Meghan Markle walked down the aisle with an up-do and tendrils, every bride wants to wear an up-do and tendrils. For very good reason though, it’s a simple yet stylish hairstyle that you won’t look back on in twenty years and ask, “What was I thinking?”

Personal Touches

This is by far my favourite of all the spring wedding trends. There’s something really magical about personal weddings. One of the best ways to add that touch of personalisation to your wedding, is to have a celebrant perform your ceremony. Read about all the advantages here.

Here at Marry Me Ireland we have a wide variety of exceptional celebrants who can deliver the wedding ceremony of your dreams – traditional, unique or otherwise. So get in touch today and we can start planning your special day!
