Born in Dublin, but with very strong family connections to the West of Ireland, Clara now lives in Ennis, Co Clare with the Wild Atlantic Way on her doorstep.
After more than fifteen years working in the Human Resources industry in Ireland Clara made a decision to take a completely different career path and become a fully qualified celebrant through the Irish Institute of Celebrants (IIOC).
Becoming a celebrant was always something that was of interest to Clara as she grew up in a family steeped in the hospitality industry and has attended numerous weddings. As she loves weddings and people, Clara always felt that she would love to work with couples and families to make their day really personal to them. A day that will be remembered forever.
Clara can offer you a ceremony which is personalised, meaningful and memorable and can ensure your ceremony reflects you both as a couple. She can help you bring your ideas and vision to life and create a ceremony that you and your guests will never forget.

Our experience with Clara and Coastal Ceremonies was out of this world! From the beginning, we were greeted warmly and explained everything we would need to know. All of our questions were answered promptly and we always felt we knew exactly what to expect.
Clara is so wonderful and made us feel like family from the first moment we Skyped. She genuinely cared about our story and our lives. Clara recommended a fantastic florist (Jackie Timoney at The Fox Glove Florist) and my bouquet was AMAZING! So beautiful and just what I imagined! Clara also recommended our photographer Gavin Coughlan. He did a wonderful job! He went above and beyond for us all day!! We even saw him play guitar later that evening and he sang us a song and bought us a pint! How incredible! We can’t wait to see the final photos of the wedding! Thank you so much for everyone that was involved in our very special day! This was an unforgettable moment in our lives!
When Maree is not a wedding celebrant – she loves to try her hand at anything linked to arts and crafts, fitness, and dance as she is passionate about all things creative, which shines through in all she does. This is what inspires her to help others achieve their creative dreams, which is why she truly believes in her motto, “Love is love, so share the dream”.
Having a background both as a wedding florist and mixed media artist, you are in safe hands and will be assured of a friendly, courteous, personal and open minded ceremony. From the point of meeting, through to your wedding day this will be an unforgettable ceremony that you will both love and cherish for the rest of your lives.
