The Morning of your Wedding: Your Beauty Routine

So everything has finally come together and it’s the morning of your wedding. All of the stress leading up to today is finally worth it because you are getting married. While it’s a lot easier said than done, the day of your wedding should be as stress free as possible. All of your planning and organising will have hopefully set in, so you can finally take a breather. One of the easiest ways to do this on the morning of your wedding is to dive into your beauty routine.

The first thing to do when you wake up in the morning is to jump into the shower. If you’ve got a spray tan you will need to wash it off to avoid any stains on your wedding dress. If you have a hairdresser coming to the house they will most likely want to work with wet hair, so if so wait until just before they come over to have a shower.

Once you are out its time to moisturise your whole body. Use a trusted moisturiser in case you get a bad reaction. The next step of your beauty routine is to do your hair. Start your hair and makeup with plenty of time to spare, it can take hours and you don’t want to leave your wedding guests waiting. If you are trying out a new hairstyle its really important to have already tried the look out in your hair. You may change your mind when you see it on yourself or it may just not sit right (or if you are doing it yourself it may be harder than you thought).

If you have a makeup artist as well as a hairstylist they will be able to work at the same time, but if not its best to do your hair first and makeup after. Like your hair make sure you’ve practiced your makeup look before. Try not go too heavy on the makeup either because it will look a lot more caked in natural daylight. Most importantly enjoy the whole experience, you deserve to be pampered.
